At PGB Since: Started as an athlete from 2007 and finished my career after the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, and now back involved as the Head of Performance leading the World Class Performance Programme.
Favourite thing about working for PGB: For now, in this new role its seeing the amazing opportunity we have with this exciting athlete cohort heading into the LA games and beyond.
What’s the coolest thing you’ve done at PGB: I have quite a few that I would like to reflect on, I think from a personal side it’s my World Championship title from 2018 in Mexico. From a team side a highlight is the home European Championships we hosted in 2019, where the team dominated across both the men and women competition. Doing that in front of a home crowd was really special.
What’s your favourite hobby outside of work: If there’s any time I would like to get back into playing Golf, but at the moment I’m enjoying simple play time with my baby Sophia.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go: My wife is Italian, and I loved our visit a few years ago to Amalfi, so visiting back there with our young daughter Sophia would be back on the list.
If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why: Now that’s going too deep! For now I’ll settle for a Nando’s with the boys, they know who they are.
Do you have a hidden talent: I wish I had a talent, let alone a hidden talent.
What is your guilty pleasure: Haagen Dazs Salted Caramel Ice Cream.
What’s the best thing about our sport? The Friendships you make along the way.
