Are you

becoming a coach and don't quite know
where to start?

We have links with our partner sports to access a wide range of courses, including our very own Laser Run Coaching Course.

If you don't have experience of coaching, we advise that you approach a local club, attend their sessions, and shadow a coach.

Have some questions ready to ask to make the best use of this time. This will support your understanding of the role and needs of a club coach. We can assure you that this experience is invaluable and the club are often looking for volunteers to help.

If possible, work with different people to appreciate the range of individuals, including young people.

Working with a variety of athletes will improve your skills, knowledge and experience as a coach.
